Abstract:
An overview of scientific articles of the anniversary collection published for the centenary of the
prominent Russian ethnographer, professor B. A. Kaloev is presented in the publication. The collection
is of considerable academic interest and at the same time it will be of interest to a wide range of
readers. The Caucasian theme is presented in a multi-dimensional way, and the publication includes
articles containing both specific descriptive ethnographic material and broad cultural typologies that
are very relevant for the current day.
