SOCIAL ISSUES IN ANKHIL MARIN’S LOVE POETRY.

Abstract:
This article explores social issues in the love poetry of Ankhil Marin, the first Avar poetess, who worked at the turn of the 20th century. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of women’s status in the traditional mountain society of Dagestan. This study attempts to reconstruct previously little-studied biographical facts from the poet’s life. An analysis of her poetic legacy allows us to draw conclusions about her attitudes toward social injustice, patriarchal restrictions, and issues of women’s equality and freedom. The images and motifs through which the author expresses her rejection of established social norms and her desire to transcend traditional boundaries are examined in detail. This study emphasizes the significance of Ankhil Marin’s work as a remarkable cultural and social phenomenon. For the first time in the history of Avar literature, her poetry raised the question of women’s place in society
