Abstract:
The review analyzes the monograph devoted to the ethnic traditions as a unique resource for
the socio-cultural development of modern society. The author notes the relevance and timeliness
of this work, which meets many issues that are waiting for a reasonable solution and long-overdue
challenges of our time. In particular, on the basis of extensive ethnographic material and a solid
experimental part, the author consistently considers existing and prospective branding opportunities
for traditional culture objects of the Ossetians. The study combines different plans for the innovative
potential of traditions, and many of the approaches used are innovative. In General, the work
contributes to the formation of an appropriate scientific direction, and to the effective development
of ethnic territories.
