Abstract:
The article examines the poetics of lyrical and lyric-epic works of the Kabardian poet-innovator
Betal Ibragimovich Kuashev. Research attention is focused on the artistic features of poems, ballads
and poems, the technique of versification, the main components of the architectonics of verse –
rhythm, metrics, rhyme, and strophic. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that at present
there is a need to fill the gap in the study of the specifics of the Kuashev poetic style, issues of the
poet’s individual authorship, identifying the variety of artistic means and techniques innovative
for national poetry, applied by him in different genres. Scientific novelty lies in the fact that for
the first time the problems of sound and syntactic organization of Kuashev’s works are considered.
Special attention is paid to the original inversion turns, which are saturated with the entire poet’s
work. In the course of the study, the poetic meters that have received the greatest development
in the lyrics of Kuashev are determined, the mechanisms of their functioning in the context
under consideration are identified. The article also outlines the role of the poet in the evolution
of the terminal rhyme in the Adyghe poetry: the rhyming complex of his poetic heritage has been
comprehensively and comprehensively studied. The stanza of Kuashev’s verse has been studied: the
main architectonic forms, actualized in the poet’s work, have been identified and analyzed. The
article uses a number of scientific methods, including comparative typological (literary, linguistic)
and structural analysis, descriptive and statistical methods, observation, synthesis, etc. problems
relevant to our study: essays and articles by Z.M. Naloev, H.G. Karmokov and others. The results
obtained can be used in the study of the history of Adyghe literature, the creative heritage of
B. Kuashev, as well as in conducting research in the field of national philology, writing qualifying
and other types of research papers.
