Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of the vocal and choral culture of North Ossetia, viewed through the prism of the work of outstanding conductors-choirmasters of the republic. The invaluable merits of the pioneering conductors A.T. Acheev, A.M. Beriev, R.L. German, Z.A. Dzutsati, A.T. Kokoiti-Hodova, V.M. Osminnikova, V. A. Semenyuk, O. A. Ushakov, who created solid foundations of musical education and education, professional and amateur choral performance, were noted. The article focuses on the study of the performing arts of the conductor—choirmaster Olga Georgievna Dzhanaeva. The purpose of the study is to analyze the activities of choral conductor O.G.Dzhanaeva, whose versatile creativity largely determined the high level of choral performance in the Republic of North Ossetia—Alania. The article considers the main directions of the conductor’s work, namely, pedagogical, organizational, performing and cultural, which influenced the development of the national musical and spiritual and aesthetic culture. It is noted that thanks to the educational, pedagogical and organizational gift, the conductor-choirmaster worked fruitfully for several years and herself created a number of choral educational, amateur, professional collectives. Among them are well-known collectives not only in the republic, but also far beyond its borders, including the folklore ensemble “Chepena”, the faculty choir “Fsati” of the Gorsky State Agrarian University, the chamber choir “Arion” of the Republican Lyceum of Arts, the National Song Choir of the Mariinsky Theater branch in RSO-Alania. The author has determined the direct connection of choral performance of collectives under the leadership of O.G.Dzhanaeva with the flourishing of compositional creativity in the field of choral genres. The high art of the conductor-choirmaster began to push the composers L.Kanukov, L.Efimova, A.Makoev, N.Kaboev, N.Farnieva to create talented choral opuses, revealed new prospects for the development of Ossetian choral art. An integral part of the conductor’s work is the culturological direction of work related to the study, preservation and enhancement of the Ossetian traditional song and choral culture, with its popularization not only in Russia but also abroad.
