Abstract:
Artistic conflict is one of the most important elements of a work. It plays a dominant role in the formation of its genre structure. As a rule, the conflict is conditioned by one or another artistic idea. This article considers the specific aesthetic reflection of the philosophy of national existence and the consciousness (public and individual) generated by it as a conflict-forming artistic idea. At the same time, artistic and aesthetic reflection of the philosophy of being in the modern literary process is a logical continuation of centuries-old traditions of philosophizing of Ossetians and their ancestors; traditions that were formed in the primitive epoch in mythology and the Nart epic, in the feudal epoch – in folk wisdom (as in Ossetian pre-philosophy) and folklore, in the bourgeois epoch – in the philosophy of enlighteners, in the Soviet period – in Marxist-Leninist philosophy with its dialectical and historical materialism. And always in the center of philosophical consciousness of Ossetians and their ancestors was the question of what is their ethnic and national existence and what is the consciousness conditioned by them. With each subsequent epoch – with enrichment of life and intellectual experience of the subject of philosophical culture – Ossetians and their ancestors - came acute understanding of multifaceted and difficult to comprehend being of ethnos-people-nation, which was initially perceived as an all-encompassing reality, as being in general. This is all objects, things, phenomena, events, processes (socio-historical, spiritual-moral, psychological, etc.) and their properties, connections and relations taken in their totality. The purpose of the research in the article is, firstly, to reveal the methodologically important principle of mastering such a significant artistic idea as the philosophy of national existence in the Ossetian novella; the conflictforming idea in the genre structure of the novella. Secondly, the logical substantiation of the fact that, regardless of the type of conflict, the most important genre setting of the story is a profound artistic exploration of the philosophy of national existence and the consciousness conditioned by it.
