Abstract:
The article examines the lyric-epic works of Mukhadin Khamidovich Bemurzov (1948- 2007) – a Circassian poet, publicist, teacher, honored teacher of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, member of the Union of Writers of Russia, people’s poet of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, laureate of the International Prize named after Izzat Kandur. The relevance of the research topic is justified by the need to fill the existing gap in the study of the history of the formation and problems of the evolution of the genres of Adyghe poetry. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time a comprehensive analysis of the lyric-epic heritage of M. Bemurzov is carried out. The main goal of the study is to determine the poet’s contribution to the development of national lyric-epic poetry. Achieving the set goal involves solving the following tasks: to study the substantive and structural-compositional features of the fable “The Tale of the Fox”, “Ballad of the War”, the poems “The Tale of Courage”, “Brotherly Love”, “Bon Voyage, Youth!”, “Sad Poem”, “In Memory of Our Fellow Tribesmen, the Princes-Nobles”, the wreath of sonnets “Faithful to Love”, the plot (plot) poems “Fairy Tale for Adults”, “Misunderstanding”, “The One Who Betrayed His People”; to designate the degree of correspondence/inconsistency of the works with the author’s definitions of their genres; to identify the features of the genre-thematic paradigm of the poet’s lyric epic. During the study, the genre of each of the works under consideration is established: in most cases, it coincides with the notes of the poet himself (“fable”, “ballad”, “poem”, “wreath of sonnets”, “true story”, “what happened”, “ancient fairy tale”), presented in his books. The article uses a set of general scientific methods – observation, analysis, description, hermeneutic and comparative-historical methods. The results obtained can be used in conducting research in the field of Adyghe artistic literature, writing qualification papers, developing training courses on Adyghe (Kabardino-Circassian) poetry.
